Federal Quad Bike Safety Standard + Crush Protection Device - On every brand new quad imported into Australia.

 

With the new Federal Quad Bike Safety Standard coming into effect in October 2020

The Safety Standard applies to all Quad bikes from 11 October 2020 (Stage 1), with additional requirements for general use Quad bikes from 11 October 2021 (Stage 2).

Pictured example is just one of Crossfire X400 Farm spec ATV – undergoing compulsory testing in accordance with the Consumer Goods (Quad Bikes) Safety Standard 2019.

Every sports and farm quad has now warning stickers on advising RISK OF ROLLOVER.

Every sports and farm quad has a Stability Test Result on a Tag hanging from the handle bars.

It is Stage 1 and Stage 2 compliant.

 

Note Stage 2 compliance starts in October 2021 and will need a Crush Protection Device (ROPS) device fitted. This will become mandatory - photo pictured in 2 and 3
